Where your donation goes
The Melodio Foundation funds coaching, therapy, and development programs for people with disabilities and their caregiving families. Your contributions help cover consultations with certified coaches, psychological support, art therapy, music therapy, and other activities that clients would otherwise not be able to afford. Every donation, whether one‑time or recurring, has a real impact on the life of a person striving to overcome the obstacles associated with their health condition.
In our 3 years of operation, thanks to donors, we have supported 43 clients on their journey towards an independent and fulfilling life. We have provided more than 200 coaching and therapy sessions, organized 45 benefit concerts, and over 150 people with disabilities have taken part in our workshops. Our goal is that no person with a disability is left alone with their worries and that everyone has the chance to develop their potential.
Why support Melodio
Melodio is more than just a foundation. We connect the world of music with helping – we believe that art and culture have the power to heal, motivate, and bring people together. We organize benefit concerts, cultural evenings, and community events that not only raise funds but also create a space for people with disabilities and the wider society to meet. In this way, we help break down barriers and prejudices.
All income from donations and event proceeds goes to our transparent account at Česká spořitelna. The foundation’s accounting is public and is audited annually. We regularly inform you about the specific stories of clients you have helped on our News page and in our annual report. We believe in maximum transparency and want you to see how your donation changes lives.
Tax benefits of your donation
Donations to the Melodio Foundation are tax‑deductible. Individuals can deduct a donation from their tax base if the donation exceeds 2% of their tax base or is at least CZK 1,000. For legal entities, the limit is 5% of the tax base. Upon request, we will issue a donation confirmation for your tax return via the form on the Request for Donation Confirmation page, or automatically when donating through Darujme.cz.
Other ways to help
In addition to a financial donation, you can support Melodio in other ways. You can become a recurring donor through Darujme.cz, join our benefit events as a volunteer, offer your services as a coach or lecturer, or support us as a corporate partner.
