A musical and literary evening organized in cooperation with the wonderful cultural venue Velký mlýn, which is tailor-made for education and making new friendships, and the Melodio Endowment Fund, whose mission is to restart the lives of people with disabilities and people who provide long-term care for their loved ones with disabilities.
Together we want to show how people with disabilities can inspire others with their talents.
Be inspired by the literary works of Radek Halas. Despite a severe health limitation, he inspires those around him through his words, a rich inner life, and an unflagging imagination. He is currently developing his talent in creative writing with the goal of writing a radio play one day. The literary experience will be complemented by the singing of Shimona, a singing lawyer, accompanied by virtuoso guitarist David Fiedler.
Radek Halas's short stories will be read by the outstanding actor and voice actor with an unmistakable voice – Zdeněk Hruška!
The evening will be enriched by violin playing from Kateřina Sládečková, proof that strong willpower, enthusiasm, and regular practice can keep cerebral palsy at bay.
Proceeds from this event will go toward restarting the lives of people with disabilities and their caregivers. We use them to fund services that bring about a breakthrough improvement in our clients' mental and physical abilities.
