On Saturday, August 31, 2024, starting at 1:00 PM, the Prague Wheelchair Users Organisation is hosting the 42nd annual 👉Sports Meeting for Wheelchair Users (and Others)👈 at the Hvězda Game Preserve. Melodio will be attending the event to inform people with disabilities about the services it provides for them.

You can look forward to popular slalom events, 500-meter races and runs, and the main events featuring mechanical wheelchair races and 1,000-meter runs. Three special fun races are also prepared, with participants receiving a reward right at the finish line.
You can spend your free time between racing and cheering by trying out the side activities. At registration, you will receive a scorecard where you can collect stamps for trying out each side activity. If you dare to try at least four out of the eight, you can pick up a sweet reward at the "gift" station. And what side activities can you look forward to? Archery, mini-golf, novuss (table skittles), darts, a laser shooting range, air hockey, garden rondo, and a dynamometer.
LOCATION: The races will take place in the Hvězda Game Preserve, along the avenue leading from the Liboc Gate (entrance to the preserve from Libocká Street), where the event's background facilities will also be located. Families with children will be pleased to know there is a beautiful new playground right at the site.
TRANSPORTATION: If you want to use public transport, the most ideal connection is to the Petřiny Metro A station. Driving into the Game Preserve area is not permitted, but parking is available along Libocká Street.
