But what you haven't experienced yet is the performance of pieces from various eras, ranging from Baroque to jazz and pop, played on these instruments🎵 Young and successful soloist Jakub Hřebíček has the talent to turn a concert evening into an educational and entertaining show, without losing an ounce of the percussion master's professionalism🥁 Originally from Brandýs, he performs with leading symphony orchestras such as the Czech Philharmonic, PKF – Prague Philharmonia, FOK – Prague Symphony Orchestra, SOČR – Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, etc. He is also a fantastic drum kit player, having toured across Europe and played at Czech clubs and festivals like Votvírák and Rock for People. These young graduates and students of HAMU will leave you in no doubt that new stars of world stages are growing right here in the Czech Republic.
🌞For the first time, you will also hear two popular songs arranged for percussion by Marek Cimbal. Vocals will be performed by Shimona, co-founder of the Melodio Endowment Fund.
🌞The proceeds from the concert will be donated to Radek, a client of the Melodio Endowment Fund. Radek, nicknamed Little Ráďa, has been blind since birth👨🦯 With his coach Vojtěch Cibulka, thanks to Melodio, he has embarked on a journey of self-development and discovering new possibilities in his life, but Ráďa will tell you himself what new visions he is developing....
